Pine Bluff police have arrested a man they say burst into a home and threatened to shoot his ex-girlfriend and her brother.

Edward Jerome White, 34, was taken into custody without incident Wednesday morning after tipsters helped detectives, Pine Bluff Police Department Lt. David E. Price said in a statement. White was sought in an aggravated assault that occurred shortly before 2:30 a.m. June 18 at 2704 Colonial Ave., Pine Bluff police said in a statement.

According to a police report, Crystal Williams, 30, saw White at her door and told him to get away, but he pushed his way inside. Once he was in the house, she told police, White put the gun in her brother’s face “and threatened to blow his face off,” the police report states. He also threatened to kill Williams and before he left said he’d return and bring someone else with him, police said.
