Opening Night Gala

Arts Center of the Ozarks

11 6:30 p.m. -- Arts Center of the Ozarks' Opening Night Gala will be at the arts center in Springdale and include heavy hors d'oeuvres and beverages before the premier of "The Sound of Music" plus a dessert and champagne intermission. 11 6:30 p.m. -- The Elizabeth Richardson Center's Beach Bingo Bash will be at the UARK Bowl in Fayetteville. 14 8 a.m. -- The 11th annual Beau Classic golf tournament will be held at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers. The fundraiser promotes prenatal care and helps fund the Beau Foundation's Vitamins for Moms Healthy Babies Campaign. Registration for a team of four is $1,000, and sponsorships are available. Smith Football Complex on the UA campus in Fayetteville. The ladies-only evening will include a social hour, sessions to learn the basics of the game -- including offensive and defensive plays, tours and photo opportunities. Women must be 21 or older, and casual attire is encouraged. Tickets are $100 and include a pink T-shirt, goody bag, food and beverage and tours of the complex.
