A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being shot multiple times Thursday morning in Little Rock, authorities said.
Little Rock Police Department Sgt. Cassandra Davis said Edgar McLendon, 28, was found in the parking lot of a discount tobacco shop at 51st Street and Mabelvale Pike about 9:45 a.m. He was taken to UAMS Medical Center, where he was in critical condition Thursday night.
Davis said police have the street name and vehicle description of a possible suspect, but are not yet releasing the information.
The vehicle reportedly fled the area toward Gum Springs Road.
