Fans gathered at Dugan’s Pub in Little Rock for the U.S.-Germany match in the FIFA World Cup on Thursday.
The standing-room-only crowd gathered around the pub’s many televisions to await kickoff of the 11 a.m. game.
American flags were donned by fans in the form of shirts, hats and overalls at the pub Thursday.
Kyle Pounders, 27, of Little Rock said he arrived as soon as the doors opened and was rocking an outfit sponsored by “America.”
His shirt sported the official logo of the Outlaws and American slug for “Mentally insane soccer fans.” Dugan’s is the official bar for these fans.
“You’ll hear some pretty awesome chants from us in a little bit,” Pounders said.
Christa Rowland, 29, of Little Rock took off work to come to Dugan’s for the World Cup said she was sure the United States would advance.
“I’m excited for that winning champagne getting poured on us by the bartenders,” Rowland said.
Don Dugan, owner of Dugan's Pub in Little Rock, said his bar was at full capacity for the World Cup watch party.
