Hillary Clinton talks to Ginger Beebe on Friday, June 27, at Clinton's book-signing at a west Little Rock Wal-Mart.

Hillary Clinton is set to visit Little Rock to sign copies of her newest book, Hard Choices.

Clinton's stop in Little Rock is one of a handful the former secretary of state is making as she promotes her memoir, which is about her four years at the State Department under President Barack Obama.

Clinton's book signing is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Wal-Mart in west Little Rock on Cantrell Road.

A limited number of wristbands for entry started being distributed on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 7 a.m. About 150 people arrived within the first hour, according to store representatives. The store expects about 1,000 people total.

Visitors started arriving at 9:30 p.m. Thursday and slept in their cars overnight, and store staff started setting up for the event about that time.

By 10 a.m., Patrick McAndrew of Sherwood was waiting in the line of more than 200 to get his book signed by Clinton on Friday morning.

"I just want to tell her that I appreciate her and I will back her if she runs for president," he said.

Romulo Buen, a sales associate at Wal-Mart, said he's honored that his store is hosting this event.

"We are [excited] about getting more people to come into the store, and the line is growing," he said.

Paula Grasse from Bryant got to the store about 6:30 a.m. to get her wristband to have the opportunity to talk to Clinton.

"We got here and there were people asleep in chairs," she said. "We love Hillary and Bill."

Grasse said she met Bill a few years ago at a book signing and wanted to get a Hillary book to complete their collection.

How about this... A buddy of mine who works through a temp agency was offered $10 per hour and a free book to go wait in line at Walmart.

After reading the article below about how much money these two make off speaking engagements I want to know who's paying for the police presence I just saw at Wal-Mart

They had about half of the back of the store roped off last night; wonder how much this is costing them?

People are so stupid. They love Billary because it is from Arkansas and supposedly reflects positively on our state. Nothing but a manipulative political animal that laughs at the fools who kiss its butt and pour money into its bank account.

It's not unusual for people to pay others to wait in line for them, pacorabone. There's even a startup, TaskRabbit, that advertises the service.

WHY?

This is why the call them useful idiots. Mrs. Clinton loathed Arkansas and Arkansans. She hated living in Arkansas. Hated it so much in fact she moved to Illinois at the first opportunity and allowed the useful idiots there to elect her as a US Senator from a state she scarcely knew. Yet, the Arkansas members of the UIA (Useful Idiots of America) shower Monica's boyfriend's wife with praise all the while she mocks their very existence. And we all need to remember this is the same woman that laughed about securing the freedom of a child molester. Mrs. Clinton has no shame or moral compass.

WHY DID SHE COME BACK TO ARKANSAS? SHE DOESN'T CLAIM US. SHE JUST WANTS THE MONEY. I PERSONALLY WISH SHE AND HER COUNTERPART BUUUURAAAACK O-BUMMER WOULD LEAVE THE U.S. AND NEVER COME BACK.
