Wedding vows were exchanged by Samantha Joyce Burnside and Cameron Tate Aviles at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 21, in Oak Park Baptist Church. The Rev. Jeff Herring officiated.

Kim and Bob Burnside, 22 Lendl Loop, are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Marilyn and Dennis Bradley, Betty and Harry Keathley, and the late Don and Ann Larson and Richard Burnside, all of Little Rock.

Parents of the groom are Leah and Dr. Richard Portis of Little Rock and Ernest Aviles of Denver. He is the grandson of Barbara Perkins of Maumelle and the late Mark Latham of Texarkana.

The chancel was lighted with vintage candelabra and lanterns. Music was by cellist Charlie Portis.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a light gold mermaid-style gown. The heavily beaded bodice had a sweetheart neckline and beaded lace at the hem of the skirt. She carried a bouquet of peach and cream roses, cream Asiatic lilies and green button chrysanthemums.

Renee Lackey of Long Beach, N.Y., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Chelsee Burnside, Caitlyn Nowlin, Tessa Maroney, Jamie Coonce and Melissa Jones, all of Little Rock; Cori Bradley Beach of Collierville, Tenn.; and Ellyn Brown of San Jose, Calif. They wore rosewood-colored gowns of crinkle-chiffon, each in a different style, and carried smaller versions of the bride's bouquet.

Flower girls were Bella Beach of Collierville and Alivia Nowlin of Little Rock. Ring bearer was Austin Herring of Maumelle.

Serving as best man was Thomas Wilkinson of Little Rock. Groomsmen were Hunter Baron, Wilson Fauble, Foster Holcomb, Adam Cline and Bradley Burnside, brother of the bride, all of Little Rock; Brett Hickman of Dallas; and Sam Whitehorn of Seattle. Guests were seated by Christian Bradley of Bauxite, Palmer Aviles of Little Rock, brother of the groom, and William Larson of Maumelle.

A reception at the Albert Pike Hotel followed the ceremony. Tables were centered with peach and cream roses, green gladiolas, cream Asiatic lilies, bells of Ireland and green buttons.

The bride will graduate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in the fall with a bachelor's degree in biology.

The groom received a nursing degree from Baptist Nursing School and is a registered nurse at Baptist Health Medical Center in the Critical Decision Unit.

After a wedding trip to San Francisco, Napa Valley and Big Sur, Calif., the couple will make their home in Little Rock.
