A Mena man was killed Sunday after the truck he was driving ran off the road in Montgomery County, the Arkansas State Police said.

Bruce Miller, 46, was driving a GMC truck west on Arkansas 88 when he had trouble negotiating a curve and lost control, according to a preliminary accident report. The truck ran off the highway and hit a tree shortly before 8 p.m., the report states.

The weather was clear and the road dry at the time of the wreck, authorities said.

Miller’s was the 206th death in accidents on Arkansas roads so far this year, according to preliminary state police figures.
