Southwest Little Rock residents will have the chance Thursday evening to talk with city officials about a pair of planned road projects.
Public Works engineers will be on hand to talk about installing sidewalks in the Meadowcliff neighborhood and street improvements for Yarberry Lane at 5:30 p.m. at the Southwest Community Center, 6401 Baseline Road.
The Meadowcliff project will consist of adding a sidewalk that runs from Meadowcliff Elementary School, which is at 25 Sheraton Drive, north to Edgemont Drive and west along Edgemont to Hindman Park, the city said.
The Yarberry Lane project will consist of widening the street from Chicot Road to about a quarter-mile west, the city said.
Those who live and drive in those areas are invited to listen to engineers discuss the projects and to give their input.
