Authorities in Little Rock are asking for the public's help in locating a 66-year-old man with dementia who hasn't been seen since Saturday.

David Savage of 1618 Garfield Drive was last seen in the area of Markham and Cedar streets. Police say he suffers from dementia and has only long-term memory.

Savage is described as a black man who stands about 5-foot-11, weighs about 155 pounds and was wearing a blue sweatshirt and blue jeans.

"If Mr. Savage is located, he may be standoffish and he might deny that he is missing," Little Rock police Lt. Sidney Allen wrote in an email. "He probably will not remember his name but if you speak to him about church and what type of musical instrument (guitar) he plays then he will more than likely be open to have a conversation with you."
