Business boosted by off-track play

HOT SPRINGS — Boosted by strong off-track business, daily pari-mutuel wagering on live races this year at Oaklawn Park averaged almost $3 million through Feb. 28, a 22 percent increase over the corresponding period last year, according to Bobby Geiger, the track’s director of gaming and wagering.
