Taking stock: Heifer International invites everyone to the Heifer Village, 1 World Ave., to celebrate 70 years of aiding family farmers. At Beyond Hunger: Communities of Change, there will be guided tours, scavenger hunts, visits with Heifer Ranch animals and hands-on activities for all ages, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. March 22. Taking notes: A host of authors including Congressman John Lewis and Catherine Coulter will descend on Little Rock with their stories and advice for the Arkansas Literary Festival, April 24-27. The festival includes a lineup of panels, performances, workshops, sales, signings and special presentations spread out over Little Rock venues.
