Shackleford, West 36th road work meeting's topic

Little Rock officials plan to hold a public meeting next week to talk about street and drainage improvements planned at West 36th Street and Shackleford Road.

The project, which will be broken into two phases, will consist of sidewalk, curb and gutter construction and underground drainage installation on 36th Street from Dartmouth Drive west to Shackleford, and then north on Shackleford for 600 feet, the city said.

The meeting, set for 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 10325 W. 36th St., will let residents discuss the project with city engineers and share their input about the project.
