Authorities say a Little Rock man fatally shot his brother Wednesday night in Little Rock, but that the motive remains in unclear.

Freddie Hinton, 26, died at the hospital shortly after being shot multiple times at 1622 S. Battery St., according to a Little Rock police report. It happened shortly before 7:10 p.m.

Tristan Lewis, 21, was "developed as a suspect," the report noted, but Lt. Sidney Allen said in an email that investigators are unsure of the motive. Lewis, a black man who stands 5-foot-6 and weighs 130 pounds, knows officers are looking for him, Allen wrote.

A wanted poster distributed by police indicated that Hinton and Lewis were brothers, as did an incident report released by authorities. Both men were listed as residents of the address where the shooting happened.
