City of Little Rock debuts smartphone app

The City of Little Rock on Friday launched a smartphone app that allows users to contact city officials, report problems and learn about local services.

The app is free and can be downloaded in the iTunes app store or the Android Google Play store.

Features in the app include a directory of city officials with options to call or email them, listings of various recreational options and a section where citizens can report troubles like potholes, graffiti or missed garbage pickup. The latter feature allows users to send in a photo or video with their reports.

City Manager Bruce Moore called the app "another way for the City to be open, transparent and responsive to our citizens.”
