ARKADELPHIA — A man charged in the slayings of an Arkadelphia man and two young girls is due in court Friday.

Riakos Lizana II is charged with three counts of capital murder for the December 2012 killings of 4-year-old Marley Crutchfield, 6-year-old Adiele Crutchfield and the girls' stepfather, Bobby Jean Galbraith.

Lizana has pleaded not guilty.

Authorities have released few details in the case, including a possible motive. According to The Daily Siftings Herald, Lizana is due in court for a review hearing ahead of his jury trial set for May.

Several motions are pending in the case, including defense requests to expand the jury pool. According to Circuit Judge Robert McCallum's scheduling order, Lizana has two more court appearances before the May trial, which is scheduled to last two weeks.
