Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church was the setting at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 8, for the marriage of Rebecca Suzanne Garison and Taylor Bond Denniston. The Rev. Britt Skarda officiated.

Kay and Andrew Garison, 5 Nob View Circle, are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Shirley and the late Jim Garison and the late Peggy and Dr. Charles Cyphers, all of El Dorado.

Parents of the groom are Barbara Bond Denniston of Sherwood and Tom Denniston of North Little Rock. His grandparents are Jan and Garland Bond of Little Rock and Mary and the late Joe Denniston of North Little Rock.

The chancel held two large arrangements of white hydrangeas, long-stemmed calla lilies, white stock, ivory roses, white larkspur and English ivory. Music was by organist James Maase and soloist Mary Ann Robinson.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory silk and lace mermaid-style gown with a chapel train. The strapless sweetheart bodice and skirt were embellished with lace panels down the center front and back. An ivory silk sash beaded with Swarovski crystals was tied at her waist and her waltz-length veil was trimmed in ivory silk. She carried a bouquet of hydrangeas, miniature calla lilies, white freesia, stock and roses.

Mallory Brown of Little Rock was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shea Gibbs of Auburn, Ala.; Haley Dearman and Hannah Shelton, both of Little Rock; Megan Lomax of Russellville; and Jennifer Daniel of North Little Rock. They wore one-shoulder black chiffon gowns and carried bouquets similar to the brides.

Flower girls were Sophie Bond of Washington, cousin of the bridegroom, and Chloe Garison of North Little Rock, niece of the bride.

Serving as best man was Hunter Thomason of Fayetteville. Groomsmen were Josh Tennyson, Matt Graves, Andrew Carroll and Clay Ramey, all of Little Rock; and Michael Miller of North Little Rock. Guests were seated by Robert Cress of Little Rock and Whitt Hartz of Stuttgart.

A reception at the Clinton Presidential Center followed the ceremony. Tables were covered in black linens with long black-and-ivory-striped runners and alternated arrangements of floating white hydrangeas in tall cylinders and taller arrangements of white hydrangeas, white tulips and larkspur and roses embellished with gold leaves. Music was by Boom Kinetic.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta. She is working toward a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at the University of North Texas Health Science Center of Fort Worth.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the UA, where he was a member of Sigma Chi. He received a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and is a regional sales manager for Sig Sauer Inc.

After a wedding trip to Whistler, British Columbia, the couple will live in North Little Rock.
