I-530 exit ramp in Pine Bluff to shut for work

Work on Interstate 530 northbound will require closing an exit ramp in Pine Bluff on Wednesday, state highway officials said.

Crews repairing pavement on Exit 44 (the Arkansas 530/Monticello exit) on Interstate 530 North will detour drivers to Exit 43 (U.S. 63/South Olive Street), where they can return southbound and take Exit 44, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said in a statement.

The exit-ramp closure will run from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday, weather permitting, highway officials said.

Crews will use barrels and warning signs to alert drivers, the department said.
