Man accused of causing $25,000+ in damage to concrete company vehicles

A 51-year-old Baxter County man is accused of causing thousands of dollars' worth of damage to a number of Mountain Home Concrete vehicles, authorities said.

Randy Dwayne Dilbeck of Gassville was booked into the Baxter County jail Monday after authorities reviewed video surveillance of the extensive vandalism Sunday at the business and developed Dilbeck as a suspect, Sheriff John Montgomery said in a news release.

Mountain Home Concrete vehicles suffered an estimated $25,600 in damage after the assailant cut 23 tires to pickups and dump trucks and damaged 58 dump truck windshields.

Investigators say Dilbeck is related to the owner of the business and they believe the vandalism was tied ongoing "bad blood" between the relatives.

Dilbeck faces charges of first-degree criminal mischief and being a habitual offender, both felonies. Bail was set at $50,000.

Dilbeck is due in court Thursday.
