Motorists heading from North Little Rock to Little Rock may want to avoid the Interstate 30 bridge Tuesday.
Traffic is moving slowly approaching the span Tuesday morning while crews conduct routine maintenance that requires a lane closure.
The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said the outside shoulder of the westbound bridge will be closed until 3 p.m.
The ArkansasOnline live traffic map shows traffic moving at a crawl through the area.
At 11 a.m., traffic was backed up all the way to the Curtis Sykes Drive exit in North Little Rock.
The work comes a week after similar maintenance was performed on the eastbound lanes.
