ASU library receives grant to host series

JONESBORO — Arkansas State University's Dean B. Ellis Library has received a $3,500 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to host a reading and discussion series on Muslim people, places, history, faith and cultures.

The library is one of 125 libraries and state humanities councils nationwide selected for the project that is intended to educate the public in the United States about the Muslim cultures both in the U.S. and around the world.

The first program is scheduled for April 1, with additional programs planned for once every two weeks at the library.

The series is titled, "Let's Talk About It: Muslim Journeys."
