Widening I-40 topic of public meeting in Maumelle

State highway officials plan to hold a public meeting Tuesday in Maumelle to talk about plans to widen Interstate 40.

The plan calls for broadening the interstate between Arkansas 365 and Interstate 430 and includes modifications to the Interstate 40/430 interchange, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.

The meeting, at which the public can view displays and offer comments about the plan, will be held from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday in the South Room of the Jess Odom Community Center, 1100 Edgewood Drive in Maumelle.
