A Little Rock woman is accused of pulling a gun on another woman during a purported "road rage" incident, authorities said.

Fleta Watson, 42, was arrested about 6:15 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of aggravated assault.

Police reports indicated it started when Watson "got into a road rage situation" with the victim on Kanis Road.

Watson then "pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim and threatened her," according to an arrest report.

A separate incident report said Watson acknowledged having a gun in her purse and a concealed-carry permit, but said she "did not point her weapon at anybody."

Watson added the victim "may have seen her retrieve her gun from the vehicle glove box and put it into her purse as she was exiting her Corvette" at the Kroger in the 8400 block of West Markham Street, the report said.

"Watson reported that [the victim] attempted to fight her and she refused while walking into the grocery store," police wrote.

Investigators also spoke with the victim's son, who was in her car, the report noted. He said he saw Watson pull a gun on his mother and threaten to "shoot her in her face," the report said.

No information on exactly what started the incident was included in the report.

Watson's bail on the report was listed at $5,000. She was not listed as an inmate in the Pulaski County jail Wednesday morning.

A March 26 court date is set.
