HARDY — An Arkansas man featured on Clash of the Ozarks has pleaded guilty to a federal gun charge.

Kerry Wayne Evans of Hardy pleaded guilty to this week to illegally possessing an unregistered machine gun. Evans appears on Discovery Channel's reality show Clash of the Ozarks, which highlights two feuding families in Hardy.

According to The Jonesboro Sun, Evans faces up to 10 years in prison and $250,000 in fines. He's due in court June 20 for sentencing.

The Discovery Channel declined to comment on Evans' plea or say whether the show will be picked up for a second season. Evans also declined comment.

The show's website describes Evans as a "savvy businessman whose sole purpose is to bring progress to the sleepy town of Hardy."
