Lawsuit alleges bias, names School Board, LR superintendent

Karen DeJarnette, the Little Rock School District’s director of planning, research and evaluation, filed a federal lawsuit against district leaders Wednesday, alleging racial discrimination and retaliation for her complaints about employment and unhealthy working conditions, which she said have resulted in plans to eliminate her job.
