Work on U.S. 70 will necessitate a lane closure in St. Francis County starting Monday, state highway officials said Friday.
Crews milling and overlaying asphalt between Arkansas 38 in Widener and Arkansas 75 will reduce traffic to one lane, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
The lane closure starts Monday and will run from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, weather permitting, for three to four weeks, the department said.
Flaggers, cones and warning signs will be employed to guide drivers, highway officials added.
