The Arkansas Travelers unveiled two new mascots on Tuesday afternoon: Ace The Horse, and Otey The Swamp Possum.

— Arkansas Travelers officials announced two new mascots for the 2014 season on Tuesday afternoon.

Ace the Horse and Otey the Swamp Possum will represent the team during its upcoming season at Dickey-Stephens Park.

Otey was named after R.C. Otey, the former Traveler infielder and groundskeeper, according to a Travelers news release.

Ace and Otey were built by Custom Characters of Glendale, Calif., a company that includes work for The Walt Disney Company, Dreamworks, Peanuts, Warner Bros., Paramount and 20th Century Fox, the news release states.
