— Little Rock police are investigating a Tuesday afternoon robbery at the First Security Bank, located at 10 Bass Pro Drive, only hours after another Little Rock bank was held up.

Little Rock Police Department spokesman Sgt. Cassandra Davis said a 6-foot-tall black male came into the bank at 12:34 p.m. and demanded money.

The suspect then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He was described as wearing a black Oakland Raiders hat and a blue checkered shirt.

The man did not display a weapon, and no one was injured in the robbery, Davis said.

The First Security Bank robbery was the second of the day after the US Bank at 6320 W. Markham St. was robbed around 9:30 a.m. Police said two people have been arrested in connection to that robbery.

A robbery also occurred Monday at the Iberia Bank on Markham Street, about a mile away from the US Bank. While police have said they do not believe the Iberia Bank or US Bank robberies are related, it wasn't immediately known whether either are connected to the latest robbery at First Security Bank.
