A 23-year-old parolee accused of shooting a woman in the leg last month after she let him use her car has been arrested.
According to a Little Rock Police Department report, Watson on Feb. 5 asked the victim for a ride from a Little Rock grocery store and she ultimately let him drive her car.
But Watson's cousin, who along with the victim were both passengers in the car, "became nervous" and ordered Watson to get out of the vehicle after he picked up a relative at an unknown address, drove to a store and then made a third stop at another unknown address on Fairfield Drive, the report said.
Watson and the relative he picked up did exit the vehicle, but Watson then "fired a single shot from an unknown handgun," hitting the victim in the right leg, authorities said.
Watson's cousin and the victim drove on until they could flag down a police car for help. Watson wasn't located at the time.
An arrest report shows he was arrested about 9:45 p.m. Monday night at an apartment in the 200 block of East 27th Street.
Online records show Watson is on parole through 2018.
