Two employees of The Tennis Shoppe, located at 8218 Cantrell Road in Little Rock, were injured Wednesday afternoon after a vehicle crashed through the front of the store.

Employees of neighboring businesses said the building shook when the accident occurred shortly after 4 p.m.

The driver, who was not immediately identified, told an Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reporter on the scene that her foot slipped from the brake pedal of her Cadillac while she was driving in front of the store.

The store's owner, Terry Hutchinson, told the reporter one of his employees had suffered what appeared to be a broken leg as a result of the accident. Hutchinson also suffered minor injuries.

Little Rock Police Department spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen said he didn't have any details about the accident Wednesday afternoon.
