NEXT WEEK

On the screen: It’s time to head for the hills. Or, more specifically, to Batesville for the 13th annual Ozark Foothills FilmFest, Wednesday-April 6, which presents several days of panel discussions, workshops and screenings of films, including Lost on Purpose, Sweet Dreams and Folk. As usual, most screenings will be in Independence Hall at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville, though some activities will be at Lyon College, theLanders Theater Building or the Old Independence Regional Museum.

Some screenings are free, but for the others, tickets are $5, $4 for ages 55 and older and students, $3 for Foothills Film Society members. “Red Eye” all-movie passes are $25, $20 and $15 respectively. Call (870) 251-1189 or visit ozarkfoothillsfilmfest.org.

NEXT MONTH

On the stage: The Second City comedy troupe has produced talents including Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Bill Murray and Stephen Colbert. The touring company returns to Little Rock for a stint at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, April 29-May 11. Show times are 7 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday with additional 9:30 p.m. shows Friday and Saturday.
