ASHDOWN — A Nashville, man who disappeared after going fishing has been found dead in Millwood Lake in southwest Arkansas.

Little River County Sheriff Gary Gregory told the Texarkana Gazette that the body of 74-year-old James Steely was found Wednesday by Arkansas Game and Fish Commission wildlife officers along the lake's shore.

Gregory said it appears Steely drowned and that the body was sent to the Arkansas Crime Laboratory in Little Rock for an autopsy.

Authorities say Steely had gone fishing Tuesday and was reported missing Wednesday morning after he failed to return home.
