Body found in Arkansas River in Tulsa identified

TULSA, Okla. — Police in Tulsa say a body found in the Arkansas River is that of a man who was wanted by police.

Police said Monday the body has been identified as that of 24-year-old Jonathan Tilley of Tulsa. The body was spotted Sunday morning by residents who called police.

Officers say they believe Tilley was driving a car that fled from police during an attempted traffic stop Saturday night. Police say the driver crashed into a gate then jumped out and disappeared.

Police say there was no sign of trauma to Tilley's body and foul play is not suspected, but the cause of death was not immediately determined.
