Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at this Waffle House in Little Rock early Monday morning.

Police say two people were injured in an overnight shooting at a Little Rock Waffle House.

Little Rock Police Department Sgt. Cassandra Davis said it happened shortly before 3 a.m. at the restaurant at 201 N. Shackleford Road.

Police said in a statement that the unidentified gunman got into an argument with another patron before going outside and getting a gun.

"The suspect then shot the his intended victim and an additional round struck the clerk," Lt. Sidney Allen wrote in the email. "It is unknown if the victim knows the suspect."

The identities of the victims weren't immediately released, but police described their conditions as appearing non-life threatening.

It wasn't clear what started the argument.

Allen said no arrests have been made.

There were no signs of the shooting later Monday morning except that the Waffle House, which is usually open 24 hours a day, was closed. An employee said it would reopen by lunch, but he said all other questions about the shooting would have to go to the chain's corporate office.
