Stormy weather predicted in Arkansas this week

LITTLE ROCK — The National Weather Service says severe weather is possible later in the week for much of Arkansas.

Forecasters say heavy rainfall is possible Wednesday night through early Friday in Arkansas. Forecasters say many uncertainties remain with the storm system but strong winds, hail and tornadoes could occur in the state.

The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Okla., said there's a slight risk of severe weather Wednesday in the western and northeastern parts of the state. On Thursday, the entire state is at risk for severe thunderstorms.
