A Pulaski County man was arrested Wednesday after surveillance footage from a laundry room revealed a sexual encounter between him and a 12-year-old girl, authorities said.

Robert Earl Woods, 53, was arrested about 8 p.m. on three counts of rape and one count of second-degree sexual assault.

The Pulaski County sheriff's office says the owners of Cabot RV Park at 2812 Backbone Road were reviewing surveillance footage from a laundry room while investigating vandalism in the area. According to a report, they found the footage showed a sexual encounter between Woods, a resident of the RV park, and a 12-year-old girl who had been visiting the park that day.

The video showed Woods and the girl engaging "in sexual intercourse" that appeared consensual but was "clearly criminal" because of the girl's age, the report said.

Woods remained in the Pulaski County jail Thursday morning with bail not yet set.
