Conway woman dies after vehicular assault

Police say a Conway woman has died from her injuries after her boyfriend struck her with his vehicle Thursday.

Conway Police Department spokesman Candie Beck said Angela Smith, 36, died from her injuries Friday at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock after her boyfriend Eric Smith, 22, of Conway struck her with his vehicle Thursday night.

Smith is being held at the Faulkner County jail on a negligent homicide charge, and more charges against him are pending as the investigation continues, Beck said.
