Little Rock man shot in car, police say

A 25-year-old man was shot at least once in his car on a Little Rock road Thursday evening, authorities said.

Patrick Hardy of Little Rock was driven to St. Vincent Hospital after being shot in his car in the 6400 block of Baseline Road about 6:40 p.m. The severity of his injuries wasn't clear.

According to a Little Rock Police Department report, a witness told investigators he saw a man shoot Hardy and then flee in a white Oldsmobile Cutlass.

No arrest has been made but police Lt. Sidney Allen said authorities were working to get a warrant for a 19-year-old Little Rock man suspected of being the gunman.

No possible motive for the shooting was included in the report.
