A bridge inspection will require lane closures on Interstate 40 at the Prairie/Monroe county line next week, state highway officials said.
The routine look at the bridge will require shutting the eastbound and westbound outside lanes on the Cache River bridge, at mile marker 205 near Biscoe, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, weather permitting, the Highway and Transportation Department said in a statement.
Barrels and warning signs will alert drivers, officials added.
