Wedding vows were exchanged by Brittany RaShon Bizzell and Ronnie O’Neal Blue at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the state Capitol. The Rev. Cathie Dorsch of Agape Church officiated.

Parents of the bride are Stacy Bizzell and Benard Bizzell Jr., both of Little Rock. She is the granddaughter of Carolyn and the late Benard Bizzell Sr., also of Little Rock, and Alice and Paul Polen of Clovis, Calif.

Michelle and Ronnie Blue of Atlanta are the parents of the groom. He is the grandson of the late James Joseph of Mobile, Ala., and Ruth and Lincoln Blue of Birmingham, Ala.

Coral tulle decorated chairs along the aisle. Music was by harpist Alicia Coffey and violist Cherish Gardner.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless ball gown of satin and English net embellished with Swarovski crystals. The bodice had a sweetheart neckline and the gathered skirt extended to a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of coral peonies and white roses.

Serving as the bride’s honor attendants were Lauren Carter of Washington and Brianna Harrington of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Courtney Bizzell and Ashley Bizzell, both of Little Rock and cousins of the bride; Whitney Grigsby of Texarkana, sister of the bride; and Erica Joseph of Atlanta, cousin of the groom.

They wore mercury-gray one-shoulder jersey gowns and carried bouquets of coral peonies.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Kendall Wright and Kaden Wright, both of Little Rock and cousins of the bride.

Antonio Blue of Fort Drum, N.Y., was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Sheldan Smith of Dallas, and Keith Singleton, Chris Williams, William Long and Benjamin Joseph, cousin of the groom, all of Atlanta. Guests were seated by D. Omavi Harshaw and Abdias Montoya Jr., both of Little Rock; Cortlen Arterberry of Texarkana, nephew of the bride; and Richard Kiel of Detroit, cousin of the groom.

A reception at The Little Rock Club followed the ceremony. Tables covered with white cloths and sheer overlays in mercury gray were centered with arrangements of dahlias and roses, with beaded cylinder vases holding floating candles. Assisting were Ashli Mitchell, Bonita Williams and Delisa Mitchell, all of Little Rock.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and is completing a master’s degree in public administration from Central Michigan University. She is employed by the U.S. Department of Defense.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Miami and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of South Alabama. He is an auditor with the National Credit Union Administration.

The couple will make their home in Birmingham.
