PARKING LOT EXTRAVAGANZA

A circus of a party benefits St.Vincent’s high-wire acts

This year, the St. Vincent Foundation went under the big top.

Bearing a circus theme - complete with tent, a carousel and servers dressed as bearded lady, clown and strongman - the Todd Bagwell designed IV Party 2014, It Will Amuse You, was held in a parking lot outside St.

Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock.

Christine and Jeff Gardner co-chaired the event.

No ringmaster or announcer was needed for this spectacle. Guests chatted each other up while sipping theme libations and munching on glammed-up circus fare: slider burgers, nachos, buttered and caramel popcorn, cotton candy, sugared and spiced nuts, cannoli and brittle candies. Many congregated around the extensive bar area, sitting and standing at tables and lounging in sponsored seating areas under the tent. Later in the evening, Play, a Los Angeles-based band, kept the dance floor full.

Money raised benefits three St. Vincent specialties designated high-performing by U.S.
