LR man's death marks 23rd homicide in 2014

A Little Rock man has died after he was involved in a shooting at a car wash in late April, officials say.

Bryan Fountain, 29, died around noon Monday from injuries he suffered in a shootout April 25 at Splash Car Wash, located at 8020 Baseline Road in Little Rock, Little Rock Police Department Lt. Sidney Allen said in an email.

Pulaski County Coroner Gerone Hobbs also confirmed Allen's report.

Two other men involved in the shooting — who were identified as Fabian Booth, 22, and Frederick Williams, 25 — sustained non-life threatening injuries in the shootout, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported.

Allen said the prosecutor’s office will determine if any charges are filed against Booth and Williams.

Fountain is the 23rd homicide victim this year, Allen said.
