LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas State Police say a 12-year-old Mayflower boy was killed in a crash on the Interstate 430 bridge over the Arkansas River in Little Rock.

State police say the wreck occurred about 3 a.m. Thursday. According to a preliminary report, Raphael Skinner Jr. died when the vehicle he was riding in left the road and crashed.

State police say five others from Mayflower were injured in the wreck, including four children ranging in age from 4 to 6. Authorities say the injured were taken to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.

A spokesman for the hospital said one of the injured children, 4-year-old Raven Brown, remains in critical condition. Conditions were not available for the other passengers.

The police report did not say why the vehicle left the road. Weather conditions were dry and clear at the time of the crash.

I hope this was just an unfortunate accident; 5 kids in a car at 3 AM really bothers me

I was looking for information on what happened and ran across this site. I am a personal friend of the mother. I talk to her briefly. One child passed away and the others are receiving medical attention. Keep this family in your prayers because this a hard moment. The boy was not driving. I do know they were going somewhere when it happened but not sure of full details as of yet.

No he wasnt driving. Ralphael was my little cousin. I dont know why they were out that early either. But thats none of my business. I just know my family go through this everyday still & its a hard healing process especially because he was one of the most funniest, craziest, and peace bringing person in our family. Thanks for your prayers though

@JessePinkman It Kind Of Bothered Me As Well But Whatever She Was Doing Thats Her Business Because Those Were Her Kids. But It Was Sad That My Cousin Had To Lose His Life At Such A Young Age Because Of This.
