Routine bridge maintenance will require lane closures starting Monday along Interstate 40 in Prairie County, officials said Friday.
The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said the work will be performed on the I-40 overpass in Biscoe at mile marker 202.
The closures will be between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Traffic will be controlled using flaggers, cones and warning signs, officials said.
On Monday and Tuesday, work will be performed on the westbound lanes, with the outside-lane work occurring on Monday and the inside-lane work occuring on Tuesday.
On Wednesday and Thursday, crews will work on the eastbound lanes, with the outside-lane work occurring on Wednesday and the inside-lane work occuring on Thursday.
