A bridge inspection will require lane closures on U.S. 64 in Fort Smith, officials said Monday.
The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said crews will be expecting the Garrison Avenue bridge over the Arkansas River between Fort Smith and Oklahoma, requiring the eastbound and westbound outside lanes to close.
The westbound lane closure will be from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, and the eastbound lane closure will be 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday.
