Police: Man robs Bank of America branch in LR

Police say the man pictured robbed the Bank of America at 8200 Geyer Springs Road around 11 a.m. on Monday.

Police are responding to a bank robbery Monday morning in southwest Little Rock.

Little Rock Police Department Lt. Sidney Allen said the Bank of America branch at 8200 Geyer Springs Road was robbed about 11 a.m.

The robber was described as a white man, 45 to 50 years old, who stands approximately 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds. Police said the robber has a light gray, stubble beard and light gray hair.

The robber displayed a note to the teller and got away with an undisclosed amount of money, authorities said.

The man fled north wearing a gray and black jacket, black shorts, white socks, black shoes, black sunglasses and a black hat, police said in a news release.
