GREENWOOD — Sebastian County authorities say a 17-year-old boy has drowned in a lake near Greenwood.
Sheriff's Investigator Philip Pevehouse told reporters the boy was swimming with friends Saturday night when he drowned in Shadow Lake. Pevehouse says the drowning remains under investigation.
The boy's name was not immediately released. His body was sent to the state Crime Laboratory in Little Rock for an autopsy.
