Museum to show portraits of American Revolution

BENTONVILLE — From an era of revolution and conflict, comes art. A coming exhibition at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art provides a unique perspective on historical figures from the War of Independence between England and its American colony, and demonstrates how portraiture evolved in the late 18th and early 19th centuries as American and European painters influenced one another.
