Police say the man pictured robbed the US Bank branch at 5200 Kavanaugh Blvd. on Tuesday.

Police responded Tuesday afternoon to a reported bank robbery in Little Rock's Heights neighborhood.

Preliminary information indicated the US Bank at 5200 Kavanaugh Blvd. was robbed about 1:30 p.m.

Several police cars were on the scene, and crime-scene tape roped off the entry just before 2 p.m.

Little Rock Police Department Lt. Sidney Allen said in a statement that the robber is described as a black man in his late teens to early 20s, standing 5-foot-5 and weighing 130 pounds. The robber was also armed with a black revolver.

The robber possibly got out of a newer model white truck of an unknown make or model, police said.

Signs on both sides of the bank's glass doors indicated it was "temporarily closed due to an emergency."

No one was injured, police on the scene said.
