Arkansas Weekend: Greece is the word

By The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

This article was published May 14, 2014 at 10:59 a.m.

The Greek Food Festival is celebrating its 30th year — with baklava as the birthday cake.

Jennifer Nixon writes in Thursday's Arkansas Weekend about the huge event that covers the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church’s parking lot, grounds and ballroom with food, crafts and performances.

“You can spend a good couple of hours with good food and entertainment,” says co-chairman and volunteer coordinator Stephanie Wilcox. “When you haven’t had enough and want more, you can drive through the drive-thru and come again tomorrow — if you decide you need more baklava.”

Read tomorrow's Arkansas Democrat-Gazette for full details.
