LAKE VILLAGE — A dedication ceremony is planned to mark the widening of a section of U.S. 82 near Lake Village.
Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department Director Scott Bennett will join commissioners Robert Moore and Frank Scott and local officials at the ceremony Thursday near Lake Village.
The ceremony marks the completion of four lanes of U.S. 82 from U.S. 65 to the new U.S. 82 Mississippi River Bridge that gives the state a four-lane connection from Little Rock to Mississippi.
